DOORS Interface slow on Citrix

The DOORS interface in some Citrix deployments seems to be a bit laggy.

e.g. Menus can be slow to appear. menu cascades have several seconds delay before opening. when typing text into inplace text editors in modules there is a delay where nothing seems to happen then suddenly all the text you typed appears.

This sounds like network performance issues with the thin client (i.e. a Citrix tuning problem) however the problem only seems to affect DOORS. It does not affect other applications deployed on the same Citrix farm.

I think DOORS native menus and interface are implemented using DXL which may account for some of the difference in observed performance.

Does anybody have any tips for tuning the Citrix configuration for the DOORS client to eliminate or reduce 'laggy' interface behaviour?
